Provision of Cars and Vans for Automotive leasing to the National Blood Transfusion Service specification
Ford Focus cars are a straightforward car conversion similar any of 700 per year completed by AES. The conversion includes the installation of blue lighting equipment, livery and battery management systems. The delivery schedule of the vehicles was difficult but made possible by extensive pre-production engineering.
The Light commercial Vehicles require internal lining so that they can be thoroughly washed out should they become contaminated.
A bulkhead is also installed so that the vehicles load area can be split into two sections, this steel mesh bulkhead folds back when not in use that it can be locked away. The bulkhead is installed before the fibreglass wet laying process is started.
The exterior body is painted to meet the Blood transfusion colour scheme.
