Appointed onto Firebuy Framework Agreement
We are delighted to annouce that we have successfully been appointed onto the Firebuy Framework Agreement as of 21st June 2010.
The framework is divided into three lots, and we have been appointed onto the Firebuy Framework Agreement for Lot 3 - Motor Vehicle Conversion Services.
Lot 3 is for vehicle conversion - this can be a range of activities from converting a standard panel van into a mobile workplace, to installing equipment, beacons, sires, logos, and conspicuity and communication systems into a whole range of products that can be available through the framework.
Firebuy acts as a central procurement body, working closely with the National Procurement Board (NPS), English Fire and Rescue Authorities, Regional Management Boards (RMBs) and the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA).
The Firebuy Framework Agreement runs over a 4 year period, and our success in being appointed onto the Framework agreement with a score of 90% is a clear demonstration of our ability as a standalone independent company.
Key objectives for the framework agreement are to delivery greater standardisation, interoperabilty, quality, safety, and fit-for-purpose special vehicles delivering greater efficiences, thereby contributing to the challenging targets set in the Opertional Efficiency Programme.
